Der Tag begann wie so oft auf den Hochzeiten, die ich begleiten darf, mit den besonderen Vorbereitungen der Braut, Caro. Die Vorfreude und Aufregung waren spürbar, als sie sich von ihren Liebsten umgeben auf den großen Moment vorbereitete. Ihr wisst ja sicher längst, dass diese Zeit des Tages vor allem dafür wichtig ist, dass sich die Hochzeitspaare daran gewöhnen, dass ich mit der Kamera um sie rum bin. So kann ich im weiteren Verlauf der Hochzeit einfach viel unbeobachteter die Emotionen und Augenblicke festhalten, die dann die Erinnerungen für den Rest des Lebens und vielleicht ja sogar darüber hinaus sind. Was gibt es bitte Schöneres als die Vorstellung, dass noch die Enkelkinder die Hochzeitsfotos angucken und sich überlegen, wer wohl diese ganzen Menschen sind? Ich mag diese Vorstellung, dass Hochzeitsfotos einfach über Generationen einen Wert haben. Das ist so viel mehr, als Hochzeitsfotos kosten, egal welchen Preis ein Hochzeitsfotograf verlangt, egal ob wie hier in Dietzenbach bei Darmstadt oder irgendwo auf der Welt. Einfach unbezahlbar.
The day began, as it often does at the weddings I am lucky enough to attend, with the special preparations of the bride, Caro. The anticipation and excitement were noticeable as she prepared for the big moment surrounded by her loved ones. I’m sure you all know by now that this time of the day is mainly for the wedding couples to get used to me being around them with the camera. This way, as the wedding progresses, I can simply capture the emotions and moments in a much more unobserved way, which will then be the memories for the rest of their lives and maybe even beyond. What could be more beautiful than the idea that the grandchildren are still looking at the wedding photos and wondering who all those people are? I like this idea that wedding photos just have value across generations. That’s so much more than wedding photos cost, no matter what price a wedding photographer charges, no matter if it’s like here in Dietzenbach near Darmstadt or somewhere else in the world. Simply priceless.

Finally, it was time for the First Look, a magical moment when Caro and her husband-to-be saw each other for the first time on their big day. The emotions of the bride and groom were overwhelming and I had the privilege to capture these precious moments.

The wedding ceremony of Caro and Basti took place inside the hotel and was marked by deep meaning and love. Surrounded by family, friends and many children and even a dog, the bride and groom exchanged vows and vows. The sun shone as they sealed their love in front of all their loved ones. There are few things cooler than having a wedding ceremony!
After the ceremony, they toasted the special day with a champagne reception and the cutting of the cake. The bride and groom’s emotional speech honored their love and future together.

The evening brought more unforgettable moments, such as the party-ready bridal bouquet toss, followed by a joyful children’s disco. An impressive diabolo show fascinated the guests before the evening reached its climax with the romantic wedding dance and then led into the wild party.
