Wow – what a party! When Franziska and Peter contacted me just a few weeks before their wedding, I had no idea what kind of party-loving company I would encounter as their wedding photographer in Elsenfeld. After their original photographer bailed, I was more than happy to photograph them on their big day. But one thing at a time…
Actually, as a wedding photographer, I only do full-day reportages to be able to tell the complete story of the wedding day. However, since the wedding couple contacted me at such short notice, I documented Franziska and Peter only from the church.

And what can I say? From the first moment, the day was incredibly emotional. When Franziska was led down the aisle by her father of the bride, she already couldn’t hold back her tears and that didn’t change during the entire wedding ceremony. The priest in the St. Gertraud Church in Elsenfeld took a lot of effort to create a personal sermon. That’s something you don’t have in every church – often weddings in churches are rather interchangeable, but fortunately not in this case.

After the kiss and the exchange of rings, the bride and groom were then really celebrated outside. Countless hugs, congratulations and tears of joy from relatives and friends – this wedding was really one big party!
Wedding venue “Zur Krone” in Elsenfeld
For a small couple shooting we went to the banks of the river Main afterwards. And that doesn’t have to take an hour: who needs 100 pictures of themselves if you lose so much time with your own family and friends for that? Therefore, it went for us very quickly back to the wedding party, who had already walked to the celebration location “Restaurant Zur Krone” in Elsenfeld.

The rustic barn in the old town of Elsenfeld has enough space – even for weddings with a bit more guests and offered the perfect place for a legendary celebration night with Franziska and Peter. And I as a wedding photographer in Elsenfeld right in the middle of it. Here we celebrated until the wedding dress tore! What a great day.
