Oh dear, when I hear Frankfurt am Main as a wedding photographer, I directly think of skyscrapers and urban feeling, sure… but I also think of wedding couples in dinosaur costumes, wild parties with guests doing pole dances and of course the two people I want to tell you about today: Nathalie and Johannes at the Rowing Club Germania, whom I documented as a photographer at their wedding in the middle of downtown Frankfurt. Because: The Rowing Club Germania is located at the “Eisener Steg” directly on the Main: It can hardly be more central!
Getting Ready with wedding photographer in Frankfurt
Wedding photography is also something very special for me in Frankfurt am Main. Because I just love this tingling feeling on this very special day. And as always, it starts in the morning when I meet the bride and groom, usually separately from each other, for the first time on their big day: usually still almost without makeup, with upturned hair and usually in a baggy look, both the ladies and the gentlemen are really slammed. And I enjoy the time in which we can get to know each other. And the couple starts to forget that I’m jumping around them for the wedding photos in Frankfurt. It’s clearly best if you just block me out. Which just works best when we already meet for the first cool wedding photos in the morning.

I grew up near the Rhine-Main area as a person and also as a photographer. That’s why Frankfurt was always the next big metropolis for me. And even if the one-way streets regularly drive me crazy: I know my way around here really well as a wedding photographer. So of course it was no problem at all to find the hair studio New Image by Juliana Demasi to meet the bride of the day Nathalie.

After the start at the hair dressers we went to Dreikönigskirche, where a really beautiful service was waiting for us. Thats when my heart jumps as a wedding photographer! And of course, before the reception at the Germania rowing club, a didn’t miss out on a few wedding portraits. As a photographer in Frankfurt, I’m only too happy to do that! I really want to capture this unique day full of emotions. There comes a speech of the groom at the wedding particularly favorable for me as a photographer! Soooo many emotions! That’s how dreamlike wedding photography works 😉

And for me personally? The big party is not to be missed! Because that’s where I dance along, have an insane fun time, photograph like crazy and make my name as the party animal among the wedding photographers in the Rhine-Main area all honor. By the way, always alcohol-free, because as a former competitive athlete and now professional wedding photographer, I never drink alcohol. Doesn’t mean I don’t know how to celebrate! 😉
